What is an MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) ?
An MSSP provides a wide range of cyber-security services such as real time monitoring and management of security devices and systems. Common services provided may include managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability assessments and antivirus removal services.
If I contact you, is there any charge?
No initial charge. You may contact us to request an onsite visit from us; we would address your concerns, questions and security status, and then we can provide you with a free quote, depending on what you may want for your network or business.
What are some of your responsibilities?
As an MSSP, it may vary depending on the kind of services that are required by our clients. If it is a Compliance Audit for example, we would provide a final report with all the guidelines, steps, and other information of the whole process. If the service is a Vulnerability Assessment, then we would perform the assessment, and provide a final report with all the information gathered, indicating issues to address and the level of priority.
How will I (my business) be aware of cyber threats?
Having us as your MSSP, we will be dedicated to inform you of any relevant threats that would be related to your business. We are always on a constant feed of real time threats happening online. We would filter out unnecessary information, and update you with the relevant news.
Do you offer hacking training?
Unfortunately no, we do not. We can provide our clients with a presentation for end users and employees on basic security tips, and general cyber security awareness. Most of the time, the end user is the cause of a risk or threat within a network.
Is your service hardware or software based?
We can provide both kinds of services, depending on the requirements or goal to meet. We can work with end point software, or also implement hardware solutions on any sized network.
Can you hack into my Social Media account?
Unfortunately no, we do not. We can provide our clients with Ethical Hacking services, yes, but it would be into a network or business that is fully owned by you. Hacking into a web server provided by a third party, or into social media account, or a network you do not own or administer, would be against the law. We abide by the law and we do not approve or condone of illegal and/or unethical hacking.
Are your services discrete and private?
Yes, we do our best to keep our services and results in a confidential matter for your business. It is very common to include a NDA within our contracts. However if we come across any illegal activity or material within an endpoint or network, we do report it to the proper authorities.
